Wanderlust
Hello everyone! So my last post did not really describe much about what I will be doing for the next 4 months. Starting September 3rd, I will be studying abroad in London, England with about 50 other students from the University of Saint Thomas. It's called the "London Business Semester" so I'm sure you could figure out we are all business majors or minors. I already know a handful of the students going (my boyfriend, Patrick, included!) and I can't wait to get to know the other people on the trip! We also have 2 professors going with us from UST. While I am in London, I will be taking 4 classes and doing 40 hours of community service. More info about the classes and community service can be found on the right side of the page :) I am living with another girl on the trip from UST, Kari. I have known her since the beginning of freshman year since we lived near each other on the same floor (Dowling 1 South represent!!). I'm sure she will be mentioned a ton in this blog as we get to experience London and the homestay life together! We are living with a family that has 2 daughters. The house is about 25 minutes north of central London. I can't wait to meet the family and see the house I will be living in for the duration of my trip.
Throughout the semester, I will get the privilege to travel all over Europe. So far, trips are planned for France, Scotland, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, and the Czech Republic. The trips to France, Scotland, Switzerland, and the Czech Republic will be with other UST students. Patrick and I will be traveling to Italy and Spain over our long fall break in October. We also get to go on a few day trips around England with our program as well. These include: Hampton Court, Brighton, Oxford, Leeds Castle, Canterbury, as well as an overnight trip to Bath. I cannot wait to experience all of these places and I will be sure to post about each one and post pictures! :)
Only 12 more days until my plane takes off from Minneapolis! I'll do my best to update this blog regularly :)

One Suitcase
I have to keep reminding myself of this quote while I am starting to pack my suitcase for studying abroad. If you know me well, you probably know I love, love, LOVE clothes. My bedroom at home is bursting with them, so you can imagine the difficulty I am having trying to choose what to bring with me for an entire semester. In one suitcase. Is this a joke?? Not very funny at all Delta Air Lines...but I have to remember the amazing things I am going to see on my trip. This helps ease my worry a little :) I can't believe I am leaving in 24 days. I still have so much to do and so many people to see before I leave. Hopefully I remember everything I need! That's all for now. Thanks for reading :)
Cheers!
Cheers!
